PostSubject: Good Poster Guide   Fri Jan 20, 2012 9:37 pm

When browsing and posting in the glorious Forums, you must remember to post right!
Here is a guide to help you do so!

-When commenting on someone's work of some sort, be sure to be reasonable and polite. You don't want to completely trash someone's hard work. How would you feel, now?

-Many users desire proper grammar and sometimes capitalization. You want members to be able to understand your post and interpret it, correct? This isn't essential, but it is very helpful when posting.

-If you are answering a question, make sure you're right! If you're not sure and absolutely can't find out, say so, such as: "I believe," "I'm not sure, but.." etc.

-Be polite and kind! As old and cliche' as it sounds, treat others as you'd like to be treated.

-If you disagree with someone's opinion, don't show it! Do
not quote it and deny every single part of it, just post your own opinion!

-Don't copy other people. Be original! Everybody likes someone who stands out and is their own person.

-Have fun! Don't post in misery, find the good part in everything. Be cheerful.

-Be supportive. Don't doubt someone if they're focusing on some goal, no matter how unlikely that person is to reach that goal.

-Don't be too dramatic or serious.. People don't like a Negative Nelly!

Well, if I forgot something, please say so! All in all, it's very important to make a good impression and be a great poster when exploring the forums of TheHogWartsExpress.com! Have fun now, ya hear Wink
